Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Leopold in Brugge, I found myself navigating the fine line between luxury and value. The hotel, rooted in historic charm, offers modern conveniences like a fully refurbished bathroom and a comfortable flat-screen TV, ensuring a tidy and clean atmosphere. the room was somewhat small-expected in such an aged establishment, though it's advisable to note for those who crave spaciousness. A standout was the attentive staff, particularly Simon, whose warmth was a welcoming touch. The overall experience was marred by significant drawbacks: no breakfast is included, and check-in procedures felt inconvenient, requiring guests to locate a different site amidst unclear signage. While the location is commendable, within easy reach of Brugge's sights, the pricing demands a careful assessment of whether the luxury justifies the cost. Given my background as a food critic, I always evaluate value; however, I couldn't help but feel that this stay leaned towards the pricey side without adequate amenities. Considering these elements is vital for potential guests deliberating on their choice.
